Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Appleton WI is seeking a Sheeter Operator to set up and run the Sheeter machine, monitor performance, and complete all Sheeter Helper duties. You will read job tickets, prepare materials, and maintain safety and quality during production runs.

Prior experience operating machinery in manufacturing is required, with paper industry background preferred. Proficiency with ERP, math, data entry, and routine maintenance is valued.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment required.
• Paper industry experience highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of production processes and machine operation.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong math and measuring skills to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Knowledge of safety protocols in manufacturing settings.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety protocols.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on the Sheeter machine.

Pay

$21.00 - $22.00 /HR

Duties

• Set up and operate the Sheeter machine to ensure optimal quality and productivity during production runs
• Monitor machine functions and make necessary adjustments to meet production goals and specifications
• Perform all Sheeter Helper duties, including roll handling, splicing, packaging, labeling, and material prep
• Use company ERP software and other systems to track orders, production, and materials
• Read and interpret job tickets for both internal specifications and customer requirements
• Serve as the first line of quality assurance by identifying and reporting defects or inconsistencies in materials
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety guidelines and protocols
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on the Sheeter machine to ensure equipment reliability and longevity
