Job summary

Globalchannelmanagement is seeking a Sheet Rocker / Drywaller to join our on-site team in Minnesota. The ideal candidate will have hands-on drywalling experience and the ability to travel to various job sites as needed.

You will read blueprints, measure and install drywall, apply mud and tape, and ensure safety compliance on site while delivering quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

Sheet Rocker / Drywaller requires:

• 5 years previous drywalling experience.
• Ability to travel to job sites as required.
• Able to apply sound judgment and problem-solving skills to projects and challenges.
• Sitting, standing, walking un-even surfaces, climbing, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis and occasionally lifting up to 80 lbs.
• Must be capable of working on job sites where temperatures and noise level can fluctuate, and the ability to see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients as needed.
• Must have near visual acuity to review written documentation.
• Ability to wear job required Personal Protective Equipment.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints.
• Knowledge of acceptable construction site practices including occupational safety and health regulations.
• Ability to comprehend and follow complex direction.
• Determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to complete each task assignment.
• Must be comfortable with high intensity work environment.
