Job summary

Cornerstone Builders of SWFL is seeking a skilled drywall installer/finisher to join our residential remodeling team.

The candidate will be responsible for hanging, taping, mudding and finishing drywall, ensuring high-quality workmanship and meeting project deadlines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven experience as a drywall installer/finisher.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, and project specifications.
• Strong knowledge of drywall materials, tools, and techniques.
• Ability to sit, stand, kneel, and climb ladders and lift up to 50lbs.
• Attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Clean driving record/ability to drive company vehicle.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working in residential remodeling.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to designated areas.
• Tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall seams and corners.
• Texture (skip, knock down, Level 5).
• Patch and repair existing drywall.
• Framing, metal and stick.
• Work from blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions.
• Maintain clean and safe job sites.
• Communicate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion.
• Demolition when needed.
