Job summary

Excalibur Research Development & Manufacturing seeks a dependable Shop Hand to support daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced sheet metal fabrication environment. You will assist production, assemble hardware, prepare orders for shipment, and maintain an orderly shop.

Ideal candidates are punctual, safety-minded, able to lift 50 lbs, and comfortable using hand and power tools. Training will be provided to grow into more advanced roles.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Reliability, punctuality and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Safety-first attitude and able to follow PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic assembly and installation of hardware or fasteners using hand and power tools.
• Deburr, sand, grind, clean, and prepare fabricated metal parts as required.
• Package finished metal parts and assemblies for shipment with appropriate materials.
• Prepare shipments for freight carriers, including labeling and basic documentation.
• Assist machine operators, welders, and fabrication staff as directed.
• Maintain clean and organized packaging, shipping, and shop areas.
