You must read drawings, follow safety protocols, and maintain equipment. The role reports to Production Supervisor and requires 3-5 years in construction/manufacturing, English proficiency, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The facility emphasizes 5S and quality standards.

Qualificações

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and measurement specifications.
• Read blueprints and tape measures.
• Perform basic math and reading comprehension.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate sheet metal fabrication equipment according to work orders, blueprints, and job travelers
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and measurement specifications
• Load raw materials and unload finished parts, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
• Adjust machine settings, tooling, and programs to meet dimensional and quality requirements
• Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on assigned machines
• Identify defects, scrap causes, and process improvement opportunities
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO) requirements, and quality standards
• Maintain accurate production, scrap, and downtime records
• Keep work areas clean and organized in accordance with 5S standards
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and quality teams to resolve production issues
