Job summary

Kolpak LLC in Parsons, TN is seeking a Material Handler III to move, load, and unload materials, inspect products, and complete electronic records to support production, shipping, and quality goals. You will use hand trucks, hoists, and tools, operate equipment safely, and participate in 5S practices in a non-temperature controlled environment.

Qualifications

3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing/construction environment.
Advanced comprehension and intermediate math skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and inventory systems such as MRP, ERP, Oracle.
Ability to demonstrate safe and effective operation of all required equipment/tools/powered industrial trucks.
Basic ability to read, speak, and understand English.
Must be able to meet company requirements to maintain powered industrial truck certifications.
Stand and walk on concrete up to 100% of work day.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch.
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs alone and over 50 lbs with assistance.
Ability to climb and balance, use hands to reach and handle or feel.
Manual dexterity in hands for tool usage.
Work in non-temperature controlled environments and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

Move materials with hand trucks, hoists, and other equipment as needed for production, shipping, or waste management.
Inspect product to ensure conformance to quality, engineering standards, and customer requirements.
Complete electronic processes and paperwork (checklists, bar coding, shipping/receiving systems).
Construct shipping containers, prepare products for shipment, and crate/band as required.
Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards in the department.
Operate required tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and conduct requirements.
Participate in safety training and escalate issues when needed.
