Job summary

BAC Dayton, TN is seeking a Press Brake Technician III on 2nd shift in the Sheet Metal Department. You will fabricate parts, move materials safely, and support the fabrication team in meeting daily production goals.

The role requires reading tape measures and blueprints, using micrometers and calipers, and following Lean and 5S standards. Candidates should be team-oriented, safety-conscious, and willing to flex to other stations as needed.

Qualifications

• Read a tape measure and perform basic fractional calculations.
• Able to read blueprints and reference drawings.
• Knowledge of sheet metal quality standards and customer expectations.
• Follows Lean, 5S and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Owns personal and team safety and uses proper PPE.
• Assist mechanics to complete fabricated parts safely and with quality.
• Operate press brake equipment and perform preventive maintenance as needed.
• Handle material movement and part kitting; support scrap reduction.
• Meet daily production goals with Team Leader guidance.
• Flex to other areas to support team success.
