Job summary

TP Mechanical Contractors seeks an experienced field professional to coordinate, install, and repair piping and equipment for mechanical systems. You will read blueprints, communicate on site with subcontractors, and lead a team across departments to deliver projects.

Requirements include a strong background in plumbing/heating operations, safety leadership, and behavioral skills to manage crews and liaise with customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years commercial experience in field plumbing, sprinkler or heating operations.
• Stable work history.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manpower, materials, and scheduling on site.
• Enforce safety as top priority; OSHA 30+ training.
• Preplan jobs: review plans, prep take-offs, and plan crew sizes.
• Coordinate with CAD designer, FAB shop, and meetings.
• Schedule work to minimize downtime and ensure productivity.
• Walk the job daily to inspect progress, quality, and safety.
• Close out jobs with testing, start-up, and as-built drawings.
• Manage subs and vendors, ensuring teamwork and morale.
