Job summary

TP Mechanical is seeking a seasoned Sheet Metal/HVAC Superintendent capable of leading field operations. You will read blueprints, coordinate installations, and supervise subcontractors while maintaining safety and schedule adherence.

The role requires strong communication, practical take-offs, and the ability to mentor junior workers. High school diploma or GED with journeyman training is preferred, OSHA 10 is a plus, and a valid driver’s license is expected.

Qualifications

• 5 years of commercial sheet metal/HVAC field experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and interpreting specifications.
• Stable work history preferred.
• Journeyman license a plus.
• Willing to obtain additional trade licenses.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, install and repair sheet metal and duct systems.
• Lead sheet metal jobs as Superintendent when required.
• Read blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Manage materials to meet schedules and optimize usage.
• Mentor junior workers and enforce safety practices.
• Attend jobsite and office meetings as required.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and safe to operate.
• Communicate with general contractors and subcontractors.
• Organize work with preplanning and schedules.
• All other duties as assigned.
