Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking several skilled Sheet Metal Fabricators to join our client’s team in Long Beach, CA. Ideal candidates will fabricate precision sheet metal components, read blueprints, and operate press brakes and fiber laser cutting machines.

Qualifications include 2+ years of fabrication experience, blueprint literacy, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; fiberglass experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings, and work orders to fabricate parts accurately.
• Set up and operate press brakes to bend and form sheet metal to specification.
• Operate fiber laser cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Perform basic machine setup, tooling changes, and routine maintenance.
• Measure materials and finished products using precision tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Position Summary

We are seeking SEVERAL skilled Sheet Metal Fabricators to join our client’s growing team. The ideal candidates will have experience fabricating precision sheet metal components, reading and interpreting blueprints, and operating fabrication equipment including press brakes and fiber laser cutting machines. Experience working with fiberglass is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to fabricate parts accurately.

Qualifications

• Experience working with fiberglass fabrication and finishing.
• Welding experience (MIG/TIG) is a plus.
• Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
• Experience in a custom fabrication or manufacturing environment.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 7 am - 5:30 pm

Salary: $20 - $30 per hour
