Qualifications

• Perform routine maintenance and keep machines and work areas clean and organized
• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and fabrication best practices

Position Summary

The Sheet Metal Fabrication Operator is responsible for independently setting up and running laser cutting and press brake equipment to fabricate sheet metal parts according to drawings and production requirements. This mid-level role requires solid fabrication experience, consistent quality output, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while following safety and quality standards.

Shifts

• First Shift Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM


• Second Shift Monday-Thursday 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Independently set up and run laser cutting machines for sheet metal fabrication


• Set up and run press brake machines to bend and form parts to specification


• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work orders


• Select appropriate materials, tooling, and machine settings for each job
