Job summary

GEM Plumbing & Heating Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to fabricate, assemble, and repair sheet metal products in a workshop environment. The role requires reading blueprints, operating metalworking equipment, and delivering high-quality craftsmanship.

You will measure, cut, weld, and fit components, collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines, and adhere to safety standards. HVAC ductwork knowledge is a plus.

The Sheet Metal Fabricator is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing sheet metal products and equipment. This position involves interpreting blueprints, operating specialized tools and machinery, and maintaining high standards of craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise and a strong commitment to safety and quality in a manufacturing or workshop environment.

Essential Job Functions

Working Conditions

Environment

• Workshop or manufacturing environment with exposure to moderate noise levels and sharp tools.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
• Occasional evening, early morning, weekend, or holiday hours may be needed based on project demands.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures at times, depending on the project or workspace conditions.
