Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company, is hiring a Sheet Metal Fabricator (Machine Operator I) for 2nd shift. You’ll set up machines, read blueprints, and produce fabricated parts for truck bodies with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

You should have experience with basic hand tools and metal fabrication, plus the ability to read blueprints and inspect parts. Overtime and shift premiums apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with basic hand tools and metal fabrication.
• Ability to read blueprints and set up machines.
• Capable of measuring parts with tape measure and calipers.
• Comply with safety procedures and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate sheet metal fabrication machines (press brakes, lasers, water jets).
• Read job sheets, set up machines, and ensure accurate part production.
• Read blueprints and apply measurements to parts and equipment.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow instructions.
