Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company, is hiring an Automotive Finish Technician/Painter to prep truck parts and perform painting as directed. You’ll use hand and power tools to prep surfaces and apply primer, ensuring automotive standards and safety.

Openings on all shifts with a majority on 2nd shift and Early Weekend shift; overtime may be available. Starting pay is 23.95 per hour, with shift premiums and a comprehensive benefits package on day one.

Qualifications

• Proficient at reading checklists, paint codes, safety logs and JSA’s
• High School Diploma or its equivalent
• Three or more years of experience in industrial painting

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finish truck parts for painting using hand and power tools
• Mix, apply, and remove body filler to defects to automotive standards
• Rotate between painting, sanding, and taping as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and read blueprints
