Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh Corporation company, is seeking a Welder I for its 2nd shift. You will set up and weld sheet metal, read blueprints, and follow work orders while maintaining a clean, safe shop. Training and certification opportunities are available as part of ongoing development.

Openings are on 2nd shift with four 10-hour days, overtime as needed. Competitive pay starts at $29.28 per hour plus a $2.00 per hour 2nd shift premium, with merit increases and a robust benefits

Qualifications

• Previous welding experience.
• Ability to obtain a Welding certificate with Pierce Manufacturing.
• Read blue prints and schematic diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts for welding and operate drilling, grinding, and welding.
• Read blue prints and follow work orders and diagrams.
• Maintain a clean and safe shop environment and wear PPE.
• Weld sheet metal materials and measure parts precisely.
