Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company, seeks a Sheet Metal Fabricator (Machine Operator I) to read blueprints, set up machines, and fabricate parts for truck bodies. You will operate diverse fabrication equipment and ensure quality while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints and schematics to plan fabrication tasks.
• Understanding and applying safety procedures in a factory setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers to maintain a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Check job sheets and set up machines for operation.
• Operate various sheet metal fabrication machines (press brakes, lasers, water jets, turrets, rollers).
• Read and interpret blueprints and measurements for parts and equipment.
• Maintain clean and safe working environment and assist co-workers as needed.
