Pierce Manufacturing, a trusted Oshkosh company, is seeking a Sheet Metal Fabricator (Machine Operator I) to read blueprints, set up machines, and ensure precise fabrication of parts. The role requires operating various sheet metal machines and maintaining safety standards on the shop floor.

The candidate will read and apply measurements, troubleshoot basic equipment, and contribute to a clean, safe work environment while supporting production goals on 1st shift.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with basic hand tools.
• Previous experience in metal fabrication.
• 1+ years of metal fabrication experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate sheet metal fabrication machines (press brakes, lasers, water jets, turrets, rollers, panel benders).
• Read blue prints and adjust setups for accuracy.
• Set up parts for cutting and forming operations.
• Read and interpret machine routes and paperwork.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Operate computer for machine setup and control.
