Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications
• Measure, mark, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand tools and fabrication machinery
• Operate fabrication equipment such as shears, press brakes, rollers, plasma cutters, and CNC machines
• Assemble and fit sheet metal components according to design requirements and tolerances
• Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with specifications
• Collaborate with engineers, welders, and millwrights to complete projects safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on tools and equipment

The Sheet Metal Fabricator is responsible for laying out, fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal components used in industrial and energy-related systems.
