Our client is a long-established manufacturer of agricultural equipment in Wisconsin, seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize sheet metal fabrication. You will develop processes for cutting, forming, and welding, design tooling, and drive continuous improvement to raise throughput and quality.

Qualificações

• BS in Agricultural, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years’ experience with sheet metal fabrication including profiling and bending equipment (lasers, brake presses, shears and saws).
• Good 3D CAD skills, preferably Creo

Responsabilidades

• Develop, document, and optimize fabrication processes for sheet metal components.
• Design and improve jigs, fixtures, and tooling for cutting, forming, and welding.
• Drive lean initiatives to reduce cycle time, scrap, and rework in fabrication operations.
• Collaborate with product engineering on design for manufacturability.
• Support CNC plasma/laser cutting, bending, and robotic welding cells.
• Perform time studies and capacity analyses to support production planning.
