Job Juncture partners with a longstanding Wisconsin manufacturer to hire a Manufacturing Engineer focused on sheet metal fabrication for agricultural equipment. The role develops, optimizes, and sustains metal fabrication processes, including cutting, forming, and welding, to boost throughput and quality.

You will design jigs and tooling, drive lean improvements, collaborate with design for manufacturability teams, and support CNC cutting and robotic welding setups.

Qualificações

• BS in Agricultural, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years’ experience with sheet metal fabrication including profiling and bending equipment.
• Good 3D CAD skills, preferably Creo.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, document, and optimize fabrication processes for structural steel and sheet metal components.
• Design and improve jigs, fixtures, and tooling for cutting, forming, and welding.
• Drive lean initiative to reduce cycle time, scrap, and rework.
• Collaborate with product engineering on design for manufacturability.
• Program or support CNC plasma/laser cutters, brake presses, and robotic welding cells.
• Conduct time studies, capacity analyses, and workflow assessments.
• Support capital equipment projects including selection, layout, and installation.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions related to fabrication quality or equipment issues.
