Job summary

Sora Resource Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer focused on sheet metal fabrication to optimize production of agricultural equipment. You will develop Fabrication processes, design tooling, and drive continuous improvement with lean methods to reduce cycle time and defects.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product engineering on DFM, programming of CNC cells, and supporting capital equipment projects for efficient, high-quality manufacturing in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

BS in Agricultural, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
3+ years’ experience with sheet metal fabrication including profiling and bending equipment (lasers, brake presses, shears and saws).
Good 3D CAD skills, preferably Creo.

Responsibilities

Develop, document, and optimize fabrication processes for structural steel and sheet metal components.
Design and improve jigs, fixtures, and tooling for plasma/laser cutting, bending, forming, and welding.
Drive lean continuous improvement to reduce cycle time, scrap, and rework.
