Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Sheet Metal Equipment Operator for shop fabrication in Richmond, VA. The role involves fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal products and ductwork using blueprints and work orders.

You will operate plasma cutting machines and other shop equipment, select correct sheet metal gauges, and ensure high-quality workmanship while following safety rules. This full-time position offers competitive benefits and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' sheet metal experience in construction/industrial environment or equivalent.
• Coil line plasma cutting experience is required.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of trade-related hand tools.
• Must be able to report to multiple job sites and work varying schedules.

Responsabilités

• Fabricates, assembles, alters, and repairs sheet metal products and equipment such as ductwork and hoods.
• Operates equipment including plasma cutting tables, shears, brakes, rollers, and punches to cut, form, and assemble metal.
• Selects gauges or types of sheet metal per product specs and ensures quality workmanship.
• Maintains safe work area and adheres to safety requirements.
