Atlantic Constructors, Inc. in Richmond, VA is seeking a Sheet Metal Helper to assist with fabrication, assembly, installation, and repairs of sheet metal products, ductwork, and equipment. This full-time role offers hands-on training and potential advancement through internal programs.

You will work on multiple job sites, handling tools, loading materials, and maintaining safety and organization in a dynamic construction environment. Competitive benefits accompany the position.

Competenze

• Minimum of 6 months construction or customer service experience.
• Knowledge of trade related hand tools.
• Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
• Must be available, and have the means to report to multiple job sites as assigned.

Mansioni

• Helps set up tools and equipment.
• Loads and unloads construction materials from trucks and into buildings.
• Cleans work area and restocks supplies and materials as necessary.
• Makes subassemblies and hangers as directed by mechanic.
• Assists in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials and devices during installation.
• Maintains good housekeeping and a safe work area.
• Develops technical skills through our internal training programs and/or an Apprenticeship Program.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
