Job summary

EMJD in Englewood, Colorado, is seeking a Programmer and Engineer to support the engineering team by analyzing customer drawings, programming manufacturing equipment, and ensuring efficient operations of EMJD technology. Reports to the lead engineer.

Responsibilities include analyzing designs, feeding quotes, creating tooling travelers, and guiding production using SolidWorks and machine programs. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and passing a drug test.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in engineering or similar field preferred.
• Experience with SolidWorks or related CAD software preferred.
• Experience with Trumpf and Amada sheet metal fabrication equipment preferred.
• Hard-working and humble personality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for eight hours per day.
• Ability to pass a drug test (including marijuana) and commit to a drug and substance-free environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer drawings and provide feedback on issues and concerns.
• Assess EMJD’s capability to fulfill customer demands.
• Support with the preparation of customer quotes.
• Process customer orders and create travelers to guide manufacturing.
• Support purchasing efforts, including raw material, hardware, and special tooling.
• Assist the manufacturing foreman and lead engineer in managing production schedule.
• Create laser, punch, and press brake programs.
• Operate robotic press brake and laser marker.
