Job summary

EMJD Precision Fabrication in Englewood, CO, is seeking a Programmer and Engineer to analyze customer drawings, program manufacturing equipment, and ensure efficient operations. The role reports to the lead engineer and involves designing, debugging, and optimizing processes across laser, punch, press brake, and marking systems.

Candidates should have a degree in engineering and experience with SolidWorks or CAD software, plus knowledge of Trumpf/AMADA sheet metal equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in engineering or similar field preferred.
• Experience with engineering and programming software required; SolidWorks preferred.
• Hard-working, humble, and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer drawings and provide feedback on issues and feasibility.
• Assess EMJD’s capability to fulfill customer demands.
• Prepare customer quotes and create travelers for manufacturing.
• Process orders and support purchasing of raw materials and tooling.
• Create laser, punch, and press brake programs; operate related equipment.
• Program and operate laser marker and robotic press brake.
• Provide design/engineering consultation to customers.
• Support production scheduling and shop organization.
