Job summary

RSA Engineered Products LLC in El Cajon, CA is hiring a General Helper - Sheet Metal to support manufacturing operations. The role involves manual tasks with moderate physical exertion, removing burrs and sharp edges, and assisting other workers using hand tools and power burrers.

On-the-job training is provided. Work hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with an hourly, full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English to fulfill essential job functions.
• Must know how to use air & electric motor driven tools to remove burrs or sharp edges on metal.
• Prior work experience in industry or high school shop training

Responsibilities

• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Remove burrs and sharp edges with the use of abrasive materials and various hand tools.
• Operate air & electric motor driven deburring equipment using emery or crocus cloth discs, sleeves and other related abrasives.
• Able to pass examination which qualifies you for certification in Industrial Truck Safety (forklift training) as required by CCR Title 8 Section 3668
• Complete general cleanup or janitorial duties assigned or directed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or directed.
