Job summary

RSA Engineered Products LLC in El Cajon, CA is seeking a General Helper - Deburr. The role involves removing burrs and sharp edges from metal parts using abrasive materials and various hand tools, with occasional use of power burr equipment and grinders.

On-the-job training is provided, with a schedule Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and pay of $20-21 per hour. Candidates should be able to read and write English and have experience with or training in a shop environment.

Qualifications

• Reads and writes English sufficiently to perform essential job functions.
• Knows how to use air & electric motor driven tools to remove burrs or sharp edges on metal.
• Prior work experience in industry or high school shop training.

Responsibilities

• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Remove burrs and sharp edges with abrasive materials and hand tools (oversize drills, countersinks, files, scrapers, wire brushes).
• Operate air & electric motor driven deburring equipment using emery or crocus cloth discs and related abrasives; use bench grinders and related machines.
• Pass forklift safety certification as required by CCR Title 8 Section 3668.
• Complete general cleanup or janitorial duties.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or directed.
