Qualifications

• Demonstrates ability to read and write English of a level required to fulfill essential job functions.
• Must know how to use air & electric motor driven tools to remove burrs or sharp edges on metal.
• Prior work experience in industry or high school shop training

Responsibilities

• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Remove burrs and sharp edges with abrasive materials and hand tools like drills, countersinks, files, scrapers, and wire brushes.
• Operate deburring equipment and bench grinders as required.
• Pass forklift safety examination if required by CCR Title 8 Section 3668.
• Complete general cleanup or janitorial duties and perform other duties as assigned.
