Hire Consulting Services has partnered with a manufacturing client to recruit a CNC Programmer. The role combines CNC programming, process planning, and cost estimating to support sheet metal fabrication, efficient production, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate offers hands-on CNC programming experience, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with production, sales, quality, and shipping teams to optimize manufacturing performance.

Qualificações

• CNC programming experience in sheet metal fabrication.
• Proficiency with CAD software and relevant CNC programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, tooling, and materials.
• Familiarity with equipment and manufacturing standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting production and quoting deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for laser cutting, punching, press brake, and other sheet metal fabrication equipment.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and customer specifications to determine manufacturing requirements.
• Select tooling, materials, and production methods to improve efficiency and minimize waste.
• Design manufacturing fixtures as needed; establish routings.
• Troubleshoot issues with production personnel to improve processes.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates based on material, labor, machine time, and outside services.
• Support sales with timely, accurate quotations.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports and FAIs.
