Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc. seeks a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team, blending CNC programming, process planning, and cost estimating to support high-quality sheet metal fabrication, efficient production, and on-time delivery.

You will interpret drawings, select tooling, design fixtures, and establish routings, collaborating with production, sales, quality, and shipping to meet customer demands. Experience with laser cutting, punching, press brake, and related fabrication equipment is

Qualifications

Demonstrated CNC programming experience in sheet metal fabrication.
Proficiency with CAD software and relevant CNC programming languages.
Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, tooling, and materials.
Familiarity with equipment and manufacturing standards.
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting production and quoting deadlines.

Responsibilities

CNC Programming and Manufacturing Support: Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for laser cutting, punching, press brake, and other sheet metal fabrication equipment.
Cost Estimating and Quoting: Prepare accurate cost estimates based on material requirements, labor, machine time, and outside services.
Quality and Continuous Improvement: Prepare and maintain quality documentation, verify documentation and finished products meet customer specifications and standards, support corrective actions and audits.
Shipping and Order Coordination: Coordinate packaging and shipment of finished goods and prepare shipping documents and carrier pickups.
