Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking an Assembly Technician in El Cajon, CA for 2nd shift (1:30pm–10:00pm). Pay ranges from $19.00 to $22.00 per hour with comprehensive benefits and weekly pay.

The role involves assembling products, inspecting finished work, and keeping operations safe and efficient on a fast-paced factory floor. Responsibilities include drawing metal rods into specified shapes, coating and deburring as needed, loading materials, using die and draw bench equipment, and ensuring pieces

Qualifications

• Ability to operate equipment and control operations.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Read and understand verbal and written instructions.
• Basic math including decimals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal rod/tube for cleaning, pointing, swaging and draw bench processes.
• Position die and place rod/tube into draw bench.
• Move levers to set draw speed and operation.
• Inspect workpieces and verify conformance to specifications.
• Maintain clean and orderly work environment.
