Job summary

InterMetro Industries is seeking full-time Production Associates for the Sheet Metal Assembly Department. You will assemble Metro products using hand tools and measuring equipment, following orders and specifications to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires basic math, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with overtime as needed. Shifts are not guaranteed due to the bargaining unit and probationary period of 400 working hours.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets orders to ensure the finished product meets customer orders.
• Basic math skills required for production tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Attention to detail to meet production and quality standards.
• Regular attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assembles components of Metro product to manufacture finished items.
• Reads orders and checks specifications to ensure conformity.
• Uses computer to research product specifications.
• Cleans and maintains the work area.
