Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. in St. Louis is seeking a Production Associate to set up, prepare and operate machines and assemble products from drawings. You will read blueprints, use power tools, and maintain a clean workspace while recording production data.

Flexibility for overtime and weekend work is required; safety and quality are priorities. The role supports multiple departments and offers broad hands-on experience within a global industrial technology company.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds individually and up to 120 pounds with a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly of components and install into enclosures.
• Will be required to use a variety of power saws, routers and drills
• Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of work area and tools on daily and weekly basis.
• Recording and reporting production data and performance indicators.
• Will be required to lift up to 50 pounds individually and team lift up to 120 pounds.
• Will need to be able to work independently after being trained.
