Job summary

InterMetro Industries is seeking full-time Production Associates for our Sheet Metal Assembly Department. You will use hand tools and equipment to assemble raw and semi-finished material into finished Metro products, ensuring quality and accuracy.

Candidates must complete screening and a 400-hour probationary period. Shifts are not guaranteed due to seniority-based bargaining. Applicants should be ready to work any shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in sheet metal assembly preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing environment and with hand tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assembles various components of Metro product to manufacture customized finished product.
• Reads and interprets orders to ensure the finished product meets customer orders.
• Uses computer to research product specifications.
• Checks parts dimensions using a variety of measuring equipment.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Meets production and quality standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Cleans and maintains work area.
• Must be available to work overtime as business needs dictate
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment
• Regular attendance is required.
