Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a general production associate to assist machine operators in manufacturing sheetmetal parts for air handling equipment and coils. You will lift and position pieces, load/unload machines, label parts, and transport stock and tools in a fast-paced plant environment.

The role requires adherence to PPE and safety rules, with training provided as needed. Forklift license may be required in some departments; the job includes general housekeeping and safety duties.

Qualifications

• Education/experience as described: less than high school or up to 1 month related experience or training, or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Lifts, positions, and removes work-pieces from machines.
• Assists machine operator in loading/unloading machines.
• Labels parts and stacks them correctly.
• Loads, stacks, and transports stock, tools, dies, and work in process.
• Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
