Job summary

Henkel in the United States is seeking a skilled EHS/SHE professional to lead and support the implementation of safety and environmental programs across designated facilities. You will serve as a technical SHE resource for operations, guide risk assessments, investigations, and corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes training, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen a robust safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field as stated in the ad.
• Minimum 3 years in EHS/SHE management in chemical/manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state OSHA regulations and practical application.
• Experience leading risk assessments, investigations, audits and corrective actions.
• Ability to analyze complex issues, prioritize initiatives and make independent recommendations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration to influence stakeholders and safety culture.
• Preferred CSP/ASP/CHMM/CIH certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support SHE management systems to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Serve as SHE resource to operations, identify risks and advise on solutions.
• Lead safety investigations and coordinate corrective actions across sites.
• Develop engineering controls, process improvements and preventive measures.
• Conduct SHE inspections, audits, and communicate findings to leadership.
• Prepare SHE reports and documentation with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and deliver SHE training, procedures and communications.
