SC Johnson is seeking an Associate Manager, Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) to design and oversee the site's safety and health programs. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, manage direct reports and contractors, and partner with Operations and Maintenance teams to meet safety objectives.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of safety, health, and environmental experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated project management experience enabling prioritization and completion of multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local environmental regulations.

Aufgaben

• Serve as a visible safety leader on the manufacturing floor and engage with employees, supervisors, and managers.
• Lead injury reduction efforts through hazard identification, risk mitigation, and corrective actions.
• Foster a culture of safety ownership through coaching and leadership engagement across teams.
• Conduct routine floor walks, safety observations, and field engagements to identify risks and remove barriers.
• Oversee incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Use data to identify trends, prioritize resources, and drive safety performance improvements.
• Ensure regulatory compliance programs and support operational excellence and injury prevention.
• Lead and develop SHE professionals and set expectations for field engagement and performance.
• Partner with site leaders to deploy leader standard work for safety targets.
