Job summary

Sierra Lobo, Inc. is seeking a Safety & Training Specialist for the TFOME team at NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland.

The role focuses on developing and enforcing Safety, Health, and Environmental programs, procedures, and requirements to meet NASA and OSHA standards. You will conduct risk assessments, audits, and training, advise on safety regulations, oversee HASP processes, and mentor the TFOME Employee Safety Committee.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or engineering studies or equivalent safety experience.
• 5+ years of safety training and program implementation experience.
• Experience with OSHA, NASA NPRs and related safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enforce, monitor and implement SHE programs for TFOME.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections and report findings.
• Provide technical reviews on HASP and TFOME subcontracted work.
• Train TFOME staff on safety and environmental requirements.
• Mentor TFOME Employee Safety Committee and participate in safety meetings.
• Prepare monthly SHE activity reports.
