Job summary

Sierra Lobo, Inc. seeks an Electronics Technician for the TFOME contract at NASA Glenn Research Center, Neil A. Armstrong Test Facility in Sandusky, Ohio. The technician will maintain and repair aerospace electronic systems, interpret manuals, and perform standard instrument tests.

Responsibilities include component replacement, circuit repairs, test readings with DMMs, oscilloscopes, and signal generators, and ensuring circuit integrity in collaboration with engineers and supervision.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent vocational training in electronics is required with 2–4 years of related experience.
• Interpret manufacturers' manuals or similar documents to apply technical knowledge.
• Knowledge of basic electrical codes and NEC Handbook.
• Direct knowledge of electronic sensors, testing instruments, and circuits.

Responsibilities

• Replaces components and wiring of circuits.
• Repairs electronic equipment.
• Takes test readings using instruments such as digital multimeters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers and oscilloscopes.
• Familiarity with interrelationships of circuits and ability to plan work sequence.
• Follow verbal and written instructions from engineering or supervision.
• Organize time and assignments to prioritize efforts for maximum effectiveness.
