Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a SharePoint & Power Platform Support Specialist to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI for government environments.

You will work on onboarding legacy systems to cloud-based M365, document processes, and collaborate with senior engineers to resolve complex issues. The role requires strong customer focus and an active Top Secret clearance for onsite work in the DC area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands on administration experience with SharePoint (on prem and/or cloud).
• Proficiency using SharePoint Administration Manager (SAM).
• Demonstrated experience supporting end users in troubleshooting SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft licensing models, permission structures, and access management for enterprise and government environments.
• Familiarity with 2013 workflows, SharePoint Designer, and legacy customizations, with the ability to troubleshoot at a functional level.
• Strong communication and customer engagement skills; able to translate technical concepts into user friendly guidance.
• Active Top Secret clearance and willingness to work onsite in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 support for SharePoint and Power Platform users, including issue intake, triage, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Assist users in diagnosing issues related to SharePoint permissions, site architecture, content access, document management, and Power Platform functionality (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Troubleshoot functional issues in 2013 workflows, SharePoint Designer–based processes, and legacy customizations; elevate to senior engineers when advanced remediation is required.
• Support team, clients, and guide customers in understanding Microsoft licensing, permission structures, and governance across SharePoint 2019, SE, SPO, M365, and specialized environments.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in ticketing systems, including troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and follow up actions.
• Collaborate with senior engineering teams to elevate complex issues, convey customer context, and support efficient resolution cycles.
• Proactively identify recurring issues, propose improvements to knowledge articles, and contribute to a stable, well documented support ecosystem.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring users feel supported, informed, and confident throughout the troubleshooting process.
