Job summary

MI Technical Solutions, Inc. is seeking a SharePoint Developer to design, develop, customize, and sustain SharePoint-based collaboration tools and enterprise information architecture in Chesapeake, VA.

The role oversees SharePoint Online as Administrator/Owner and integrates Power Platform solutions to improve user experience and data management. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in CS or IT, have 2+ years with SharePoint Online and Power Platform, possess an active Secret clearance,

Qualifications

Active Secret Clearance required.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology or related field.
2+ years of progressive development experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform.
Experience with agile development methodologies and testing/debugging.
Strong technical writing ability and documentation expertise.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

Serve as an Administrator/Owner for SharePoint Online and SharePoint environments.
Design, build, deploy, and maintain custom SharePoint solutions to improve user experience, data management, and operational efficiency.
Develop dashboards, performance metrics, and interactive reporting tools using Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
Integrate SharePoint solutions with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, Flankspeed, etc.).
Implement and enforce security best practices, governance controls, permissions management, and cross-site collection functions.
Support Information Management (IM) and Knowledge Management (KM) initiatives to improve communication and mission readiness.
Provide technical writing, documentation, end-user support, and training for all SharePoint-based solutions.
Collaborate with government stakeholders to gather requirements and translate mission needs into scalable IT solutions.
