Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking a SharePoint Administrator to design, deliver, and manage the full lifecycle of Microsoft 365 collaboration solutions with a focus on SharePoint Online. You will ensure security, governance, and stability while enabling knowledge sharing, automation, and business value.

The role involves managing site collections, permissions, external sharing, backup procedures, and modernization efforts in collaboration with cross-functional IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or 3-5 years equivalent IT experience in systems administration or collaboration platform support.
• 3+ years hands-on experience administering a Microsoft 365 environment, with at least 2 years focused on SharePoint Online administration, including site collection management, permissions, and hub site architecture.
• Understanding of collaboration governance, including permissions models, external sharing policies, content lifecycle management, and secure information architecture.
• Experience with SharePoint Online integration with Teams, OneDrive, Power Automate, Power Apps, Purview, PowerShell, and Graph API.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• SharePoint Administration and Governance: Manage the overall SharePoint environment, including site collections, permissions, guest access, and audit controls to ensure a well-organized and governed platform.
• Security and Compliance: Configure and enforce security policies, including data access controls and external sharing settings. Use Microsoft Purview for data classification and governance.
• Backup and Restore: Lead backup/restore procedures and maintain step-by-step documentation.
• Technical Support and Modernization: Provide expert-level support for incidents and drive modernization efforts.
• API and Platform Integration: Lead Graph API configuration and explore Power Platform enhancements for SharePoint workflows.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with security, infrastructure, and development teams to deliver secure Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Roadmap and Strategy: Partner with the Microsoft 365 Product Owner to develop and implement solutions roadmap.
• Content Migration: Assist in migrating content from file servers, Google Drive, and Dropbox to Microsoft 365.
• Training and Adoption: Create training plans and materials for new Microsoft 365 solutions.
