Job summary

Pyrotecnico, a leader in world-class fireworks and live event effects, seeks an Experienced Facilities Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, electronic, and sfx equipment. You will support warehouse operations, ensure safety, and manage equipment records and certifications.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of repair experience, a two-year technical degree or equivalent, and strong diagnostic skills with lasers.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components and systems.
• 3–5 years of proven electrical/electronics and mechanical repair experience.
• Two-year technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience troubleshooting lasers and electronic equipment on Windows platforms.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment.
• Strong sfx safety knowledge and documentation management.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of following safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment, including programmable controls, power supplies, drives, and testing equipment.
• Install, start up, and shut down equipment per safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance as directed.
• Troubleshoot lasers and other electronics using Windows-based platforms.
• Build, repair, and solder cables as needed.
• Maintain laser-related safety equipment and certifications.
• Track and maintain inventory and records for sfx equipment and parts.
• Requisition and acquire repair parts from manufacturers and manage vendor records.
• Assist warehouse staff with technical troubleshooting and loading/unloading equipment.
• Use Excel/Google Sheets to manage inventory and documentation.
