Job summary

Fuse Technical Group, LLC, a leader in multi-media design and development technology for live events, is seeking a Repair Technician I for its audio-visual equipment warehouse in Nashville. You will lead others, prioritize testing, cleaning, and programming, and troubleshoot issues while ensuring warehouse organization and smooth equipment loading/unloading.

Reports to the Director of Operations and supports the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical knowledge with Audio-Visual equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead a team and manage employee expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Equipment Maintenance - Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed
  • Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment or systems
  • Repairing - Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools
  • Troubleshooting - Determining causes of operating errors
  • Continuous training on new products
  • All other tasks and duties as assigned

About the role:

The Repair Technician I is an advanced level position in our audio-visual equipment warehouse. This position includes leading others within your department and prioritizing equipment testing, cleaning, and programming as directed. This requires a strong understanding of equipment functionalities, uses, and ability to troubleshoot technical issues, as well as instruct others when required. Warehouse organization and loading and unloading equipment as needed. This also requires task completion within the computer-based inventory program, Rental Works.

This position reports to the Director of Operations and supports the Operations Manager.
