Job summary

L’Oréal USA is seeking a senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Team Lead to join the Marketing Technology group in New York. You will own SFMC platform strategy, mentor a team of developers, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate marketing requirements into scalable solutions.

This role requires 5-8 years SFMC experience with 2+ in leadership, strong API and data model expertise, and certifications.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of hands-on SFMC experience, including 2+ years in a team lead role
• Proven experience leading a team of SFMC developers
• Deep expertise in SFMC data model design and API integration
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications — minimum 2 of the following: Marketing Cloud Email Specialist; Marketing Cloud Developer; Marketing Cloud Consultant; Marketing Cloud Administrator

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the end-to-end SFMC platform—Business Unit structure, data model, contact strategy, and security framework
• Define and enforce platform design principles, coding standards, and technical governance across all SFMC modules
• Conduct technical reviews for major initiatives before development begins
• Lead the evaluation and adoption of new SFMC capabilities (Data Cloud, Agentforce for Marketing, Hyperforce migration)
• Directly lead and mentor a team of SFMC developers, setting technical direction and ensuring delivery quality
• Collaborate with marketing leaders to translate business strategy into platform decisions
• Represent the MarTech team in enterprise technology forums and IT governance meetings
• Produce and maintain technical decision records and platform documentation
