Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program seeks a Compliance Manager for La Jornada to implement and maintain ORR Policy compliance, provide staff training, and oversee documentation and audits. The role emphasizes creating a safe, respectful workplace and coordinating with ORR stakeholders to ensure adherence to IFR and related standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services fields.
• At least 1 year of experience with child welfare standards, best practices, quality assurance, or compliance.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones, tablets, printers, fax machines, and common software.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish); fluency in Spanish required.
• Auto insurance minimums: $100,000/$300,000 bodily liability.
• 21+ years old, valid driver's license, reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform work in a manner aligned with NYAP's mission, values, and philosophies.
• Establish a respectful, supportive workplace environment.
• Provide ORR policy training, documentation, and IFR/IFR prevention measures.
• Review grievances and escalate to program director for resolution.
• Promote safety culture and compliance with ORR policy and SOPs.
• Collaborate with ORR PCAN team to ensure policy implementation.
• Coordinate ORR background checks and hiring considerations per ORR policy.
