Sewing Machine Operator 1st Shift - HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Join Carpenter Co. as a Sewing Machine Operator and be part of a team dedicated to improving quality of life through efficient and sustainable manufacturing processes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Prior industrial sewing experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow instructions and work cooperatively.
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours on concrete floors.
• Frequent physical activities such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, and repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads.
• Assemble components using specified sewing procedures and attach labels.
• Ensure product quality standards are met.
• Assist with cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Set up sewing stations with necessary supplies.
• Adhere to department procedures and accurately measure materials.
• Cross-train to operate other machinery such as fiber blowers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
