Job Description

Job Title: Machine Operator

Shift and Compensation: 1st Shift - 5am-1:30pm, currently working overtime until 3:30 PM. Starting pay is $17.00/hr, negotiable based on experience and ability to read blueprints and operate the Turret machine. Located in Middlebury, IN.

Pro Resources is seeking a Machine Operator for a distributor of aluminum products including coil, sheet, bar, and extrusions. Great benefits upon hire!

Job Duties

• Ensure machines are set up correctly.
• Adjust machine settings for speed, material feed, and shape path to produce quality parts.
• Operate punch press and work in skid shop and crane initially.
• Follow charts for machine settings for each type of cut.

Background Profile

• Ability to lift/move up to 60 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Work standing/walking for over eight hours per day.
• Ability to read tape measures and perform basic math.
• Good hand/eye coordination and perform repetitive motions.
• Wear PPE: Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, uniform pants.
