STAR in Minneapolis is seeking a Sewing Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The role requires hands-on sewing machine operation, attention to detail, and the ability to read work orders for timely production.

Qualifications

• Previous sewing machine operating experience or similar roles.
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Properly read and interpret work orders for production.
• Operate industrial sewing machines.
• Comply with all safety standards for sewing machine operation.
• Monitors machine operation and report problems.
• Understand requirements of the Sewing Department and produce quality work on a consistent basis.
• Understand and follow S.O.P.’s regarding work order routing.
• All other responsibilities assigned

Experience:

• Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role preferred
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Basic understanding of sewing machine mechanics and troubleshooting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Skilled in multi-tasking and working in fast paced environments
