Job summary

Smart Resources Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Sewer to operate and maintain industrial sewing equipment in our Utah production facility. The role focuses on quality workmanship and hands-on sewing tasks, following detailed work orders and production instructions.

You will set up and test machines at each shift, inspect finished products for defects, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Previous industrial sewing experience, attention to detail, and reliable attendance are required,

Qualifications

• Previous industrial sewing experience required.
• Experience operating industrial sewing machines and sergers/overlocks.
• Manufacturing or production sewing experience preferred.
• Ability to successfully complete a practical sewing test.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to follow work orders and production instructions.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines, sergers, and overlock machines
• Set up, test, and adjust machines at the beginning of each shift
• Read and follow work orders, specifications, and production instructions
• Gather materials and prepare parts before beginning production
• Sew, repair, and attach materials according to specifications
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Trim excess fabric, material, and threads
• Identify and correct defects when possible and notify supervisors of quality concerns
• Clean, oil, and perform basic preventative maintenance on sewing equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Complete other production duties as assigned

We're Hiring Experienced Industrial Sewers! Are you experienced with industrial sewing machines, sergers, or overlock machines? We are looking for a skilled and dependable Industrial Sewer to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working with their hands.

What You'll Do

• Operate industrial sewing machines, sergers, and overlock machines
